This depends on the model. ARKHOME Complete is designed for household use and offers the most complete setup. ARKHOME Basic is more compact and better suited for 1 to 2 people or smaller living spaces. ARKHOME Mini is an entry-level or add-on system for immediate essentials.
What is the difference between ARKHOME Complete+, Complete, Basic, and Mini?
ARKHOME Complete+ is the most extensive setup. It includes the full ARKHOME Complete system, with the addition of walkie-talkies for direct household communication when mobile networks are unavailable or overloaded.
ARKHOME Complete is the full home setup for households that want the main essentials covered: light, radio, water filtration and cooking equipment.
ARKHOME Basic is a more compact setup for smaller households, apartments or 1 to 2 people. It includes the core essentials in a smaller configuration.
ARKHOME Mini is the smallest setup in the range. It is designed as a first step, backup kit or add-on for basic light and information at home, at work or on the go.
Is ARK suitable for an apartment?
Yes. ARK is designed to be stored compactly. It can be placed in a closet, storage room, technical space, or utility area. You do not need a garage or large storage space to keep the system ready.
Is ARK suitable for families?
Yes. ARKHOME Complete+ and Complete are the most suitable options for households and families. Depending on your household composition, you can add extra food, drinking water, medication, pet supplies or other personal essentials.
CONTENTS AND USE
Why is there no food included?
Food is personal, has expiry dates, and depends on diet, household size, and preferences. ARK focuses on the harder-to-organize essentials: water, cooking, light, and communication. We recommend adding a small supply of long-life food that fits your own household.
Why is there no power bank included?
Power banks are useful, but they need to be charged. In many homes they are empty when they are needed. ARK uses battery-powered products because batteries are easy to store, easy to replace, and do not depend on the power grid being available.
How long do the batteries last?
Battery life depends on the product, settings, and usage. ARK includes multiple battery-powered items so the system can be used flexibly. Lights, radios, and flashlights can be used only when needed to extend total runtime. Exact runtimes are shown where available on the product pages.
Does ARK include water?
No. ARK does not include food or drinking water in the case. Food and water are personal and depend on your household, diet, preferences and available storage space. We recommend keeping a suitable supply of long-life food and drinking water at home.
ARK focuses on the essentials that are harder to organize properly, such as light, information, cooking and water filtration. ARKHOME Complete+, Complete and Basic include a water filter as an additional option when access to clean drinking water is temporarily limited or unavailable.
Can I cook indoors with the included equipment?
Always follow the safety instructions of the specific cooking product. Gas cooking equipment should only be used in safe, well-ventilated conditions and never in a way that creates fire or carbon monoxide risk. Read the manual before use.
